rec\u00adog\u00adnize their lack of abil\u00adi\u00adty; with\u00adout the self-aware\u00adness of metacog\u00adni\u00adtion, low-abil\u00adi\u00adty peo\u00adple can\u00adnot objec\u00adtive\u00adly eval\u00adu\u00adate their actu\u00adal com\u00adpe\u00adtence or
